Stitches South 2012 - Class and Pictures

Finally I have to time to capture last weeks Stitches South in Atlanta, Ga.  I was able to finally take the course I was signed up to take the previous year!!  Jean Frost's Lining à la Chanel

A lined jacket is a masterpiece and a joy to wear. Learn how to assemble, sew in a lining, and finish a jacket in the same manner in which Chanel couture garments are made. Get hands-on experience in lining and finishing your jacket like a pro!




The pattern I chose was JaspeRed from Knitter's Magazine Fall 2007.  I started this pattern a while ago and put it down when I got frustrated with the sleeves.  Last year I signed up to take Jean Frost's Lining à la Chanel at Stitches South 2011.  Jean Frost had to cancel at the last minute due to illness :-( so  I put this away again.  Luckily the times of the classes fell on Sat pm and Sun am.  After the class was over I have one sleeve that has the lining quilted to the sleeve.
